Board certified in couple and family psychology

I received my PhD in counseling psychology from Indiana University-Bloomington, and have worked in community and university settings with diverse adults and adolescents ages 12-19. Since 2009, I have been educating and supervising psychology, counseling, and marriage and family therapy trainees in academic institutions and mental health agencies. I specialize in the treatment of emotional and behavioral disorders in the context of couple and family relationships, and I have published many articles and book chapters on the effectiveness of couple and family therapy for emotional and behavioral problems in adulthood and adolescence. My most recent contributions to the field of psychology are books published by NYU Press in 2017 and APA Books in 2019 and 2022. For more information about my books, visit Gender, Psychology, and Justice (2017), Integrative Couple and Family Therapy (2019), and Best Clinical Practices for Treating Couples and Families in Juvenile and Criminal Justice Systems (2022).

I am a bilingual clinician (French and English), committed to providing my clients with high quality psychotherapy and consultation services. My clients describe me as understanding, caring, and warm.  In psychotherapy, my goal is to help you find your own path, reconnect with your loved ones, learn skills, overcome challenges, and grow to your fullest potential.
